A Duck In New York City Webcast A great tool for teachers and a fun show for all ages, this presentation by Connie and Paul was recorded in a Broward County, Florida school on November 17, 2006. The 78-minute broadcast was simultaneously presented to eighteen schools across the area via the web. Connie sings songs from "Duck", reads selections from the book and even fields questions from the other schools. You can watch it through Becon Videoconferencing by registering for free on their website.
The Official Hart Rouge Website While some pages are still under construction, the source for all Hart-Rouge info is here with bios, discography, photos, and an outlet to buy HR albums. Did you know the Campagne's father, Émile, at a mere 78 years old, put out an album of traditional French folk songs he used to sing to his children growing up on the prairies? Perhaps that was the genesis of the group, and you can see and hear the creative results at this well-designed site.
The Official Roy Forbes Website Call him Roy, call him Bim, or call him 1/3rd of UHF, but pay a call to him to find out about his extensive background in the Canadian folk scene, including writing for Hart Rouge, co-writing with Connie, playing guitar on many of her songs and producing some of her albums. Here are links to some of my other personal favorite folk artists' websites:
The Arrogant Worms Shari Ulrich Blackie & The Rodeo Kings April Verch

PERSONAL FAVES
Well, I have to give them a plug -- if it weren't for their Nova Scotia trip, I would have never seen Connie Kaldor in concert. It really is a great way to spend a vacation, though. You stay active during the day and tour the roads at your own pace with all the support you need. At night, you eat and sleep at some of the finest Bed and Breakfasts in the world. There are tours in New England, Canada, Italy, Ireland, California wine country-- some place you'd like to see, and really be out on the road seeing it. Plus you may get an inspiration for a website...
