WHAT DO THEY KNOW?

Everybody's got such good ideas

For what someone else should do

They all want to make your choices

'Cause they don't have to live them through

They say, "go for the money, go for the fame

Why don't you learn how to play the game"

And they tell you what's right and they tell you what's real

But when I drive down that road it will be me behind the wheel

What do they know

What do they know about

What do they know about me

And everybody passes

By the things that show

They see how you look and they see where you've been

And they think that's where you'll go

They say, "why don't you work, why don't you go for the fun

Why don't you do what your mama done"

And they tell you what's good for the likes of you

But if I climb up that hill it will be me that gets the view

What do they know

What do they know about

What do they know about me

'Cause it's my way and I'm going to find it

And it's my business and I'm going to mind it

And I'm gonna make it

Just you wait and see

'Cause that world is changing day by day

And it's changing, oh yes it's changing

Along with me

What do you know about that now?

What do you know about that now?

What do you know about hey

What do you know about me?

What do you know about that now?

What do they know about it anyway?

'Cause I know, I know

About me
