Connie's latest album, Sky With Nothing To Get In The Way, as well as Vinyl Songbook can be found at Festival Distribution out of Vancouver, BC. Songbook is a collection of Connie's favorite tracks from the 80's, remastered for the 21st century. It also features new versions of One Of These Days and Wanderlust. You can also find it at major American outlets such as Yahoo! music and Amazon. Love Is a Truck, Small Cafe and Lullaby Berceuse with Carmen Campagne are also available through most of the major online music outlets such as Amazon, and Yahoo! music. Wood River, Out Of The Blue, Gentle
of Heart and Moonlight Grocery can be found at Yahoo!
music. There are three Canadian sites that
also carry these albums, although you may have to wait a bit while your request is
put on backorder. You can click on the underlined links to visit them (remember,
prices are listed in Canadian dollars): I had the most success with a & b Sound Online, based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. A CD on backorder is worth the wait as they ship out fast and relatively inexpensively. My orders shipped in less than a week to the East Coast. Archambault also has limited quantities, though my requests seemed to be processed slower -- maybe it was just a bad day, I don't know. Anyway, if you arrive with everything in French (I suppose they're based in Quebec), just point your mouse to the "English" banner on top. Swahili? No, sorry, can't help you there. There's also this outlet out of Newfoundland called Fred's, which claims to have CD's and cassettes in stock. In the U.S. you can purchase A Poodle In Paris, A Duck In New York City, Vinyl Songbook, Small Cafe and Out Of The Blue through Playcentric. Prices are a little higher but it's offset by free shipping on all CD's!
Hart Rouge albums from 1997 on should be readily available from all of the above sources. Albums produced by La Montagne Secrete (Dodo la planète do 1 & 2, Connie's A Duck In New York City and A Poodle In Paris) are available at their website. Heather Bishop's Bellybutton is now available for the first time on CD! It features all the original tracks plus eight bonus tracks from Heather's Purple People Eater. It's available online at ladyslipper.org. You can also order Heather's A Duck In New York City (cassette only) Bellybutton or any of her albums directly from the source through her official site's mail order catalogue.
